Content summary 

The know­ledge of spe­cial team roles in team sports and how to deal with them effec­tively also pro­mo­tes the achie­ve­ment of cor­po­rate goals. Team deve­lo­pers are the­r­e­fore not only tech­ni­cal ins­truc­tors, but also rela­ti­onship mana­gers. They give their employees direc­tion, secu­rity and trust, but also demand cou­rage and over­co­ming from them.

The semi­nar explains win­ning and sacri­fi­cial beha­viour in an extra­or­di­nary way through field reports and mul­ti­me­dia expe­ri­en­ces in memo­rable key situa­tions from com­pe­ti­tive sport and ever­y­day busi­ness life. The focus is not only on the posi­tive deve­lo­p­ment of team spi­rit, but also on the lea­der­ship role of the team leader.

Key messages 

Only lea­ders who reco­g­nise the dan­gers (vic­tim beha­viour) and oppor­tu­ni­ties (win­ner beha­viour) that arise from the indi­vi­dual roles of their team mem­bers can pro­mote them in a tar­ge­ted way. 

The posi­tion of an employee says not­hing about the role he or she plays in the com­pany and in the team. These roles result from the cha­rac­ter of the respec­tive employee. 

Team deve­lo­pers suc­ceed in forming and lea­ding groups in the con­text of a com­mon stra­tegy and the avo­id­ance of per­so­nal egos.
